Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring full L&D and postpartum experience, night shifts, and relevant certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
  • Provides care for laboring and postpartum patients
  • Night shifts : 3x12 hours from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Weekend coverage required, minimum of every other weekend or 8 weekend shifts during contract
  • No on-call required
  • Floating required within scope, including coverage as a CPO sitter and at a low-risk birthing unit at another nearby campus
  • Staff works according to AWHONN staffing standards, with break and resource RNs available
  • Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
  • Responsible for providing comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period
  • Will work as part of a collaborative team with break and resource RNs
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed
  • Proof of address required for consideration

  • Active OR RN license required at the time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience including postpartum
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN Intermediate
  • Experience working with AWHONN staffing standards
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility
  • Pending license not accepted
