Finance Analyst

Job Description

The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. This position is responsible for delivering actionable insights through financial modeling, performance analysis, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations.

Job Responsibilities

Provide analytical and strategic support to business units, helping drive performance and operational efficiency.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business effectiveness.

Develop and maintain custom dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, etc. to support business needs.

Prepare and present monthly financial reviews, including variance analysis, trend identification, and forecasting insights.

Produce weekly, monthly, and annual performance reports, including revenue, margin, labor, and cost analysis.

Conduct month-end critiques and participate in Finance and Accounting meetings to share insights and recommendations.

Conduct ad hoc analysis, including capital expenditure requests (CER), pricing realization tracking, inventory movement, and scenario modeling.

Perform benefit tracking on special projects across Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, etc.

Assist in preparing financial projections, scenario analyses, and weekly close processes.

Support all functions of the business in identifying risks and opportunities across departments

Continuously improve methods for tracking and visualizing financial performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus.

2?3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), data analytics, or business analysis.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; experience with Power BI and SQL is highly desirable.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Willingness to work occasional overtime to meet deadlines.
