Typical nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 6. Nurse aides and OB techs are available with a ratio of CNA 1 : 8 generally, 1 : 10. May be required to pull 1 : 1 and utilize sitters. Weekend requirement is every other weekend. On-call requirement is low for census. Holidays are rotated with permanent staff. Scrub color is Caribbean Blue. Telemetry services are available and monitored on different units. Ventilator support includes BIPAP, CPAP, and vapotherm. OB / Neonatologist is in-house. IV team is not available but PICC team is available 24 / 7. Pharmacy services are available 24 / 7. Shifts are from 0645 for 12-hour periods. C-section experience is required. Floating to Orthopedic / Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and other areas is expected. Additional duties include a familiarity with common diagnoses and types of patients in various areas. Direct hire position. Salary is commensurate based on experience. Additional differentials may apply for night shifts, weekends, charge nurse roles, preceptor roles, and holding a BSN.
