Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a K3 self-contained classroom. This role is essential in providing individualized instruction and ensuring students receive the academic, behavioral, and social support they need. You will join a collaborative team environment focused on student growth and inclusive learning.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead a K3 self-contained classroom with a total caseload of 13 students

Provide differentiated instruction to students with varying disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum

Supervise and collaborate with 4 paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom

Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student needs and goals

Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings

Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers

Support a positive and structured classroom environment

Requirements :

Valid Special Education teaching license (Arkansas-appropriate)

Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field

Experience working with K5 or self-contained classrooms preferred

Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
