Job Description : Job Summary
The Charitable Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at Patterson-McCallum-Mareta Charitable Pharmacy (PMMCP) is a licensed pharmacist tasked with overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing inventory, and overseeing financial budgeting. This role is expected to evolve to include the implementation and provision of clinical pharmacy services.
This is a part-time position based in Indianapolis.
What We Are Looking For :
Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need :
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in community pharmacy
- Completion of PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residency or an equivalent experience in pharmacy practice preferred
- Licensed in the state of Indiana; participation in continuing education activities to meet licensure requirements
- Completion of APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate program
- Obtain and maintain AHA Basic Life Support certification
- Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws pertaining to all aspects of pharmacy practice including hazardous materials and drugs, and accepts legal responsibility for pharmacy operations and technician activities performed under their supervision
