Accountant (Accounting Firm)

We are looking to hire a talented, experienced finance accountant to join our remote professionals team. You'll be preparing a solid trial balance, as well as preparing and checking balance sheets, P / L statements, and other financial reports for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with returns
  • Support audits and maintain proper financial documentation
  • Analyze financial data to support business decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years working with US clients
  • 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero)
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and tax compliance
