Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8.

Youll laugh. Youll break a sweat. Youll go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference. It may be tough, but coaching our kids will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do.

LOCATION

Castro Valley and San Leandro

We are looking for a part-time coach to work in Castro Valley and San Leandro.

Local candidates only please (no work status or visa sponsorship available)

PART-TIME SCHEDULE or FULL-TIME SCHEDULE

Hours between M-F, 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm (and Sat / Sun 9am-1pm)

Must be available to work one day out of the weekend.

What We Offer :

Competitive Base Pay

The training rate is $22 / hour

After completing training, pay is $25 / hour (including admin and setup / breakdown time).

Pay can be up to $35 / hour through advancement

Schedule :

Flexibility We only schedule sessions closest to you, with opportunities to change availability from season to season (winter / spring / summer / fall)

Mondays through Fridays : mornings, afternoons, and evenings are optional

Saturdays : mornings are required

A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.

The Job :

Bring Soccer Island alive with your enthusiasm and creativity

Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down

Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling

Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session

Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants

Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers

Qualifications :

Genuine passion for children and sports

Ability to stand, jog, and model childrens soccer skills
