Locum General Surgeon needed in Rural Nevada Critical Access Hospital Location : Critical Access Hospital in Rural Nevada, Winnemucca area, 2 hours from Reno (closest airport) Start Date : ASAP End Date : through December, but more dates will be added if desired Provider must agree to a schedule of 2 week blocks, or similar Schedule :

• Monday 7 : 30 - 9 : 30 am Operating Room - prn electives

9 : 30 - 12 : 00 Wound Clinic

3 ICU beds with hospitalists who take excellent care of patients Anesthesia provided by CRNAs (3) General surgery program; patients also seen in outpatient for follow-up No urology present ERCP is down Volume : average of six surgeries weekly with up to 12 scopes / day Patients with no co-morbid conditions are admitted to surgery, otherwise admitted to medicine. Must be willing to assist OB for emergency or complicated surgery (2nd hands only) Furnished apartment provided; newly refurbished in 2020; No smoking / pets / overnight visitors Housekeeping is provided. Sharepoint site used daily for facility updates, services, meetings, etc. Travel and lodging provided Malpractice Insurance provided
