Our team is seeking an Audiologist to split time between our Madison Center located at 904 7th Ave. Seattle, WA 98104 and spend 1-2 days a week at our Northgate Plaza located at 9709 3rd Ave NE #400, Seattle, WA 98115.

Joining 4 total ENTs, 1 PA-C, 3 Audiologists, and 1 Audiologist Assistant. We are recruiting for another Audiology Assistant. Other support staff on-site.The Audiologists with the Everett Clinic have 5 locations total, with a large collaborative team.17-20 patients per day averageDiagnostic appts are 30 minutes typicallyDispensing appts are longer; time depends how many they have in a day.Assessment of hearing loss including audiometry, tympanometry, ABR, OAE, UNHS.Assessment of Balance including : VNG, VHIT, VEMP; (vestibular testing)Epic EMR; LyricPrimary Responsibilities :
Review / analyze medical history and prior care to support identification of patient needsAssess patients and define individual functional goalsAssess and reassess patient needs to determine which skilled services are needed, if anyRecommend further assessment or consultation by another provider, as appropriate (e.g., physician, additional therapies, nursing care)Assess home environment, as applicable (e.g., safety issues, appropriateness for home care)Use and interpret appropriate functional assessments (e.g., occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy)Define and implement plan of care for patients, and update as needed to meet patients' ongoing needsPerform ongoing patient assessments to minimize long- and short-term health risks (e.g., need for hospitalization, urgent care visits, falls)Communicate patient progress toward goals with appropriate team members to ensure continuity of care (e.g., supervisor, interdisciplinary teams)Provide skilled care to patients based on evidence-based practices (e.g., occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy)Educate patients on applicable therapeutic issuesInteract with patients to optimize customer service (e.g., timeliness, comfort, privacy, compassion)Address customer service issues identified via applicable feedback mechanisms (e.g., audit results, surveys, telephone calls, in-person feedback)Identify and address patient issues, as needed (e.g., compliance with program requirements, orthopedic restrictions, additional education needs, co-morbidity management)Serve as a patient advocate with applicable stakeholders (e.g., internal staff, community organizations, insurance providers, healthcare providers)Ensure timely and accurate completion of required patient documentation (e.g., visit notes, orders, schedules)Communicate with appropriate contacts to provide updates on patient status (e.g., physicians, other healthcare providers, interdisciplinary team members, insurance providers)Perform / support audits as required to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations (e.g., CMS, state requirements)Maintain a fully stocked lab that will be equipped with supplies and spare parts that will allow minor in-office hearing aid repairsAdhere to applicable legal / regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PHI, PII, state requirements, licensure requirements, continuing education)Compensation / Benefits Highlights :

Required Qualifications :
Doctoral Degree in Audiology (Au.D or Ph.D)Unrestricted WA state Audiology licenseStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications :
1+ year or more of experienceKnowledgeable of current hearing aid technology.Experience with pediatricsExperience with VNGExperience working with insurance plans for coverage.Membership in American Academy of Audiology or American Speech Hearing and Language Association.Washington Residents Only : The salary range for Washington residents is $70,200 to $137,800 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
