Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re hiring an Office Manager for an onsite role in Irvine, CA.

Join our client's team as a temporary Office Manager, stepping in during a maternity leave period of approximately 3-5 months starting mid-November 2025. This role is based onsite in Irvine, CA, with a flexible schedule of ideally 4 days a week (32 hours), with the possibility of full-time hours. You will report directly to the local manager and receive additional guidance from a team member in San Francisco. You'll become part of a vibrant, startup-style culture within a dynamic team of approximately 70 employees. Your engaging personality will be key as you represent the office at the reception area.

Office Manager Responsibilities :

Serve as the welcoming face of the office by managing the front desk and greeting visitors.

Assist in coordinating engaging office events, including quarterly lunches, happy hours, and a winter party in January. Some events may require after-hours work, with flexible scheduling options.

Oversee the inventory of snacks and supplies, maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure timely restocking.

Manage calendar scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting setups to support the smooth operation of the office.

Ensure the office environment is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with company policies.

Facilitate onboarding processes and provide general administrative support as needed.

Office Manager Qualifications :

Experience in office management, administrative support, or front desk coordination.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming office environment.

Flexible and dependable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
