Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team! North Carolina Personal Care Services is a dedicated home care provider committed to delivering high-quality care to our clients. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time or Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this position, you will provide therapeutic services to clients in their homes, helping them achieve independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

Assess clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their ability to perform daily activities.

Implement therapeutic interventions that support clients in achieving their functional goals.

Assist clients in using adaptive equipment and techniques to enhance their independence.

Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state regulations.

Educate clients and their families about therapeutic exercises, strategies, and goals.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure all equipment is properly managed.

Qualifications

Current state licensing as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina is required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create a supportive and positive environment for clients.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions in a high-stress environment.

Schedule

Flexible part-time or per diem hours available.

Must be willing to travel to clients’ homes within the designated service area.
