Description
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, may require some evening hours at times, holidays and regular weekends are not required.
The Paramedic Program Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Develops and provides services related to orientation, continuing education, and assessment of clinical staff.
Responsibilities :
Collaborates with managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental / organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies.Serves as a consultant / mentor for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery of new staff orientation and education activities.Qualifications
Required :
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing or Paramedic program.Current RN licensure or EMT-P licenseFive years of critical care experience and one year of teaching experienceTwo years in course coordinationCPR-Basic Life Support (BLS)CPR-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)CPR-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)IDPH Lead Instructor within one year of hirePreferred :
