What You’ll Do

  • Prep Ingredients with Care : Measure, chop, and prepare fresh ingredients, sauces, and components for daily menu items.
  • Create Pastry Perfection : Assist in crafting La Madeleine’s signature pastries and baked goods with precision and consistency.
  • Maintain Quality & Freshness : Inspect ingredients and finished items to ensure every dish meets our high standards.
  • Follow Recipes & Standards : Adhere to portioning, presentation, and storage guidelines to guarantee consistency.
  • Keep It Clean & Organized : Maintain a tidy prep and pastry area, properly sanitize tools, and follow all safety procedures.
  • Support the Team : Collaborate with fellow associates to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food preparation.

  • A passion for food, baking, and craftsmanship
  • Basic knife skills and comfort following recipes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented attitude and dependable work ethic
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and reach throughout the shift
  • Prior kitchen or bakery experience is a plus, but not required

    • This position operates in a restaurant environment. La Madeleine staff are frequently exposed to hot equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role requires regular standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
