Why This Role Is Important
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide leadership and serve as a credible, knowledgeable, and trusted resource who collaborates with the Executive Team, Business Unit Leaders, Board of Directors, and Investors to build a profitable and resilient organization. This role will be instrumental in driving the company's growth and preparing it for a successful future.
The CFO will oversee all sub-functional elements of finance, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, investor relations, transactions, and certain operational activities. This includes leading internal resources and capital allocation decisions, and supporting strategic planning and operational decisions with data-driven analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing the company's financial strategy
- Lead strategic investment decisions and fundraising which ensures the company secures funds, at the right time, and the right amount while preserving value and being positioned for future growth
- Identification and assessment of potential M&A transactions and group structures
- Implement and monitor SaaS metrics and KPIs to understand the performance and overall health of the business and provide meaningful business analysis and financial perspectives
- Responsible for the finance function ensuring appropriate standards are maintained with accurate and timely financial reporting and staff are supported to perform and grow
- Monitor and oversee financial budgets, cost control, forecasting, analysis, performance, and investor reporting
- Build efficiencies into all the groups operations and champion to improve systems, processes, and workflows to achieve growth at scale
- Ensure validity of key SaaS and operating metrics from sales, client success, marketing, engineering, and product
- Help ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and corporate policies in all jurisdictions where FNA operates. Currently this includes the UK, USA, and Spain and an employer of record is utilized beyond these entities
- Financial, legal, and operational assessment and oversight relating to sales contracts, vendors, and corporate issues
- Coordinate the preparation of board meetings and serve as Board of Directors Secretary

Proven track record as a CFO or Finance Director scaling a SaaS company from 5M in ARR and beyondFluent in SaaS financials and metrics and comfortable leading board interactionsAble to drive strategy but maintains a 'hands-on' approachStrong financial modeling background with a fluent understanding of R&D and Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) nuancesThrives in small teams with frequently changing priorities and operates with a sense of urgencyAn excellent communicator, spoken and writtenAbout FNA
