    MUST HAVE A CAR, MUST BE RELIABLE

    We are looking for a capable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist for our wonderful Individual with developmental disabilities by enhancing their quality of life.

    Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
  • Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
  • Promoting independence in daily activities, such as work, learning, and leisure.
  • Facilitate the individual's inclusion in the community's experiences and activities.
  • Maintaining knowledge of individual's requirements.
  • Complying with the Agency's policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining documentation in compliance with the Agency's procedures
  • Additional duties upon request

    • Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a DSP or similar role.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
  • CPR, and first aid certification.
  • Completion of provided Agency training
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation and valid vehicle insurance as specified by the MD
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand proactively and physically support the individual
  • Capable of using, smart phone capable
  • Compassionate, respectful, ethical, honest
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
