As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at this educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication, all while embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Pay Rate : $17.30 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents.
  • Communicate with campus personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters, incidents, and daily activities.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow all instructions and procedures specific to the educational environment, adapting to changing needs and situations as required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
