We are looking for a Dean of Academic Affairs for The Digital Animation & Visual Effects ( DAVE ) School

Responsible for providing the leadership necessary to fulfill the mission, objectives, plans, and goals of the college / school in all education and training areas by planning, organizing, directing, staffing, training, coordinating, motivating, supervising, and evaluating all facets of the school’s Education Department

Minimum Requirements :

• Master’s degree in Education. All degrees must be from institutions accredited by regional or national accrediting bodies approved by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in an educational setting.
• Looking for people who are patient, empathetic, adaptable, and enjoy problem-solving.
• Ability to adapt to new and rapidly changing situations.
• Ability to work extended hours (which will include evenings and Saturdays), in order to meet business objectives.

The Digital Animation & Visual Effects (DAVE) School was founded on June 8, 2000, by two Industry executives looking to create #CareerReady artists with practical animation skills. They created a school that offered specialized training in Visual Effects with extensive practice under industry-level supervision. The Game Production program followed 13 years later, in September of 2014, making it the second program to be offered by the school. The DAVE School is located on the backlot of Universal Studios Florida™. Our 18,000 square foot facility includes learning and interactive labs, a dedicated Virtual and Real-Time production stage, a Vicon motion capture system, 3D printing and VR / AR labs. Students have access to our facilities 7 days a week.
