BONDST is hiring a Maitre D' to join our team at Hudson Yards!
This fine-dining concept is seeking exceptional candidates for MAITRE D' with extensive knowledge of food, beverage and service to create an extraordinary experience for our guests. The ideal candidates must exude enthusiasm, desire and passion for what it means to be hospitable.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage daily dining room operations
Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, maintaining strong relationships and consistently elevated service standards.
Welcome guests and coordinate seating with professionalism and efficiency via Open Table.
Address guest inquiries regarding menu items, beverages, and specials
Handle guest concerns with discretion and effective resolution
Lead and support the host and service teams to ensure smooth, seamless service throughout each service period.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume, fine-dining restaurants.
Minimum 2 years overseeing a front-of-house or host team in a New York City restaurant.
Background in Michelin-recognized or NY Times-rated establishments is a plus
Prior Maître D’ experience is a must.
Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 lbs
