Software Developer (.NET)

Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain modern applications and integrations using Microsoft and Azure technologies

Collaborate with architects team leads and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives

Build and enhance cloud-native event-driven systems using Azure Functions Service Bus and related patterns

Lead configuration and integration of enterprise platforms (Duck Creek Salesforce ServiceNow)

Design and implement APIs that meet enterprise standards for scalability reuse and security

Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across modern and legacy systems

Participate in code reviews testing and documentation to ensure high-quality maintainable solutions

Mentor developers and promote best practices across the team

Support CI / CD DevOps and continuous improvement initiatives

Collaborate with QA vendors and integration partners to deliver seamless solutions

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field

7 years of relevant IT experience; insurance (P&C) or financial services experience preferred

Strong expertise in C# .NET (Blazor / Razor Entity Framework) SQL MVC Web API and Azure Functions

Experience designing REST APIs microservices and enterprise integrations

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Azure Data Factory Blob Storage and cloud-native architectures

Experience with Duck Creek (Billing Policy Claims Clarity) strongly preferred

Proficiency with Git CI / CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

Advanced database skills (SQL Oracle DB2)

Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide on-call production support
