A healthcare provider in the Greater Orlando area is seeking a dedicated Adult / Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their Goldsboro site in Sanford. This role will involve working independently in an underserved FQHC setting.

About the Opportunity :

This position entails working in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to handle rotating on-call duties and flexible hours.

  • Hybrid or Remote : No
  • Shift : Day
  • Schedule : Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-12pm
  • Hours : Full-Time
  • Setting : Community Health Center

Responsibilities :

The Adult / Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for :

  • Providing comprehensive care to patients in a community health setting
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients
  • Collaborating with medical assistants and administrative staff
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Handling on-call telephonic responsibilities on a rotational basis

    • Qualifications :

  • 1-3 years of experience (New grads considered)
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
  • Active NP or PA license in Florida
  • Proficiency in patient assessment and diagnosis
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment

    • Desired Skills :

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar setting
  • Advanced degree in related field
  • Bilingual capabilities a plus
  • Experience with underserved populations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
