• Oversee the maintenance and houseperson staff, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and support to ensure high standards of service.
• Collaborate with management and staff to plan, schedule, and prioritize work orders, tasks, and special projects for the engineering team.
• Perform daily inspections of property grounds and work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to hotel standards.
• Ensure all safety equipment and conditions are compliant with local codes and regulations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests, ensuring courteous service and timely resolution.
• Monitor and maintain all safety protocols, including proper safety equipment and procedures, to safeguard staff and guests.
• Manage budgets related to maintenance operations and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs or projects.
