• Safely operate various vehicles including shuttle buses, paratransit vans, and other commercial vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments, pharmacies, and other destinations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met and vehicles are in optimal condition.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to maintain a secure environment for passengers and staff.
• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns during trips.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and passenger details for compliance purposes.
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary to assist with wheelchairs, mobility aids, or luggage while prioritizing passenger comfort.
