A retail employer in the Indianapolis area is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee parts management and inventory control within their parts warehouse. This role is highly analytical and focuses on ensuring accurate inventory tracking, efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, and alignment with operational strategies. The Inventory Control Supervisor will report directly to the Inventory Control Manager and will lead parts center staff, including pickers, to maintain smooth daily operations and adherence to company standards. Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategies for loading and unloading VLMs, managing replenishment levels, and supervising auto-replenishment processes for technician vehicles. The position also involves maintaining inventory accuracy through the CMMS platform (Maximo), coordinating with supply vendors to ensure timely delivery, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support operational goals. This role requires strong leadership behaviors to lead a team of 2-4.
