Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care aligned with professional standards. You will engage with a collaborative care team, conducting diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, and monitoring patients on both invasive and noninvasive ventilation.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Performing patient assessments and conducting diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for respiratory therapy.
  • Administering respiratory therapies, including oxygen and aerosol delivery, as well as chest physiotherapy.
  • Assisting with the placement of artificial airways and managing mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitoring patient responses and notifying providers as needed during treatment.
  • Transporting ventilator-dependent patients safely.
  • Responding to emergencies and ensuring airway integrity during resuscitation as required.

    • Qualifications :

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT).
  • State certification as a Respiratory Therapist / Practitioner (RRT / RCP).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
