Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric

Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric physician employment in Massachusetts : An inpatient psychiatry unit is seeking an experienced Psychiatric NP to treat adult patients for locums coverage.

While in Boston, Massachusetts, you have the opportunity to see one of the most historic cities in the United States. In between all the tours and famous sites, take a trip to Fenway Park or get some seafood at any of the downtown spots like the Union Oyster House that is one of the oldest restaurants still in operation today in the United States.

The locum must have an active MA license. The schedule is full-time / 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday only. There is some flexibility on the schedule but must include Fridays 8-5 : 30. This assignment is onsite only. They use Meditech and Meta for e-prescribing. The average length of stay is 117 days. There are 95 psych beds and 230 hospital beds. In rare instances, they will need to testify in court.
