A client of AlphaStaffHCM is looking for an Inventory Control Manager in New Jersey. As an Inventory Control Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of production, inventory, and order fulfillment to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Oversight
- Review sales and activity reports to measure productivity, track goal achievement, and identify inventory needs.
- Manage incoming raw materials from U.S. and global suppliers, outgoing containers, and global order fulfillment.
Department Coordination
- Direct and coordinate purchasing, shipping & receiving, and production order management.
- Oversee OEM customer orders and align customer inventory requirements with capsule production schedules.
Database & Inventory Management
- Maintain and update the database, including setting up new part numbers, customer codes, and locations.
- Schedule inventory verification and resolve quantity discrepancies promptly.
Staffing & Training
- Determine staffing needs for the packaging department and assist with interviews.
- Train new staff and update existing staff on revised procedures.
Policy & Communication
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, and procedures in collaboration with owners and managers.
- Ensure strong communication, listening skills, and initiative across the team
Must Have Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience within the industrial sector
- Proven track record in operations management, inventory control, and global order fulfillment.
- Inventory, ordering, inventory maintenance, starting new pos, organizing/inventory understanding etc.
- Inventory knowledge and vendor management
- Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and computer skills; ability to manage databases and resolve discrepancies.
- Leadership: Ability to direct cross-functional teams, train staff, and implement policies effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work Ethic: High standards for work quality, attendance, and initiative.

Compensation and Perks
Salary: $60-$75,000
Bonus Program
Paid every 6 months
- Based on:
- Company sales performance, Employee motivation and initiative, Salary level and Years of service
