Job Brief
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Director with a strong hunter mindset to accelerate growth within our Energy and Utilities portfolio . The role is responsible for driving new business acquisition, expanding our footprint with net new clients , and delivering sustained revenue growth. You will focus on identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities with organisations across power, gas, water, and renewable energy.
This position requires a proactive leader who excels at creating strategic relationships, opening new doors, and converting complex, high-value opportunities. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to shape compelling solutions that enable clients to advance toward a smarter, safer, and more sustainable future.

Responsibilities
1. P&L Ownership & Strategic Leadership
- Lead the full P&L for the Utilities vertical and meet revenue and profit goals.
- Set the vision, growth plan, and roadmap for the Utilities business in the US.
- Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and yearly plans.
- Ensure strong governance, operational discipline, and top-quality delivery.
2. Business Growth & Client Expansion
Drive sales, new client wins, and business expansion.Build trusted relationships with CXOs, partners, and regulators.Promote IT and digital services, including :Smart metering & grid modernisationIoT and asset performance managementData analytics, AI / ML & predictive maintenanceCloud & ERP modernisationCybersecurity and complianceWork with marketing, alliances, and pre-sales for winning go-to-market strategies.3. Delivery Governance & Execution Excellence
Oversee project delivery and ensure all work is on time, on budget, and of high quality.Set up delivery governance aligned with KPIs, SLAs, and client expectations.Improve efficiency and scalability with delivery and solution teams.Ensure compliance with industry standards like NERC CIP, ISO 55000, and OSHA.4. Team Leadership & People Development
Lead and guide account managers, solution architects, delivery heads, and practice leads.Build future leaders through coaching and talent development.Create a culture based on customer success, innovation, and accountability.Align global delivery and local sales teams to achieve shared goals.5. Market & Offering Strategy
Stay updated on trends, policy changes, and new technologies in energy and utilities.Shape sector offerings like Smart Grid Analytics, Energy Transition, and ESG solutions.Represent the organization at events, conferences, and client meetings.Build partnerships with OEMs, ISVs, and cloud providers.Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Business, or similar field (MBA preferred).18+ years of experience in IT services or consulting.7+ years in leadership roles within energy or utilities.Proven success managing P&L of $10M+.Strong executive presence and ability to influence CXO-level leaders.Track record of business growth, account expansion, and delivery oversight.Strong knowledge of utility operations (Generation, T&D, Customer Ops, Smart Metering, Grid Automation).Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP IS-U, Oracle Utilities, GIS, SCADA, or IoT systems.Knowledge of energy transition, renewable integration, and sustainability needs.Experience with asset, outage, and workforce management tools.Experience working with regulated utilities or public-sector energy bodies.Strong financial skills and ability to manage complex delivery models.Why Join Us?
