The Quality Inspector is responsible for accurate inspection from first article through final verification to ensure product conformance and on-time delivery. This role reads prints, builds inspection plans, performs hands-on inspection, maintains calibration compliance, and documents results in support of the QMS.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Must be able to program a CMM and understand coordinate systems, alignments, datums, and measurement logic
\n
• Support and follow Cogitic’s Quality Management System (QMS) and internal quality procedures
\n
• Document inspection activity, results, and job data accurately in ProShop ERP
\n
• Select the right inspection methods and equipment based on part features and tolerances
\n
• Work with Mission Assurance and Engineering to meet requirements and resolve issues using objective measurement data
\n

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot measurement and process issues

• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering prints, tolerances, and GD&T
\n

• Coachable, execution-focused, and able to work effectively with Manufacturing and Engineering
