Production Supervisor

Overview

The role of the Production Supervisor is to oversee daily operations on the production floor with a strong focus on safety , ensuring the manufacture of high-quality products while maintaining compliance with internal manufacturing procedures.

This role leads the production team through personnel decision-making , continuous training , coaching , and problem-solving .

Essential Responsibilities

Must follow all Safety Guidelines and Protocols — safety is #1.

Work with the production planner to plan and schedule set-ups and changeovers that align with production schedules and staffing needs.

Troubleshoot issues on the production floor and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and R&D for quick resolution.

Communicate clearly during pre-shift meetings so all teams work toward the same goals.

Participate actively in continuous improvement events and initiatives.

Champion Good Documentation Practices and Standard Operating Procedures , ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and followed precisely.

Lead, support, and train production team members, fostering growth and accountability.
