About The Position

Job Title : Behavioral Healthcare Provider

Profession : Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Experience : Experience in providing group and individual therapy to adolescents. Preference for those clinicians with experience working with adolescents who are justice-system involved.

License : Must hold one of the following independent licenses : Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT).

Certifications : Completion of continuing professional education for license renewal pursuant to relevant sections of the applicable state code.

Must-Have : Independent Mental Health Licensure

Description :

The Behavioral Health Provider operates under the general supervision of the facility behavioral health services supervisor.

In this full-time contract role, you will provide group treatment and one-on-one individual sessions to assigned youth.

You will provide documentation of clinical services provided and clinical summaries and updates to the facility behavioral health supervisor for the youth’s treatment team.

Your work will contribute to positive outcomes and youth well-being within this unique context.

Responsibilities :

Provide group treatment for youth with court orders or clinically assessed needs.

Provide individual, one-on-one therapy sessions for assigned youth on the mental health caseload.

Provide clinical summaries and reports of youth progress or barriers to progress.

Ensure meticulous completion of all necessary documentation.

Collaborate closely with behavioral health services to facilitate seamless service delivery.

Unusual Working Conditions :

May be exposed to clients who may be potentially violent.

May be exposed to unusual noise, odors, or contagious diseases.
