Our client are a national, family-owned EPC company who provide a turnkey solution to all of their clients in the Solar industry. With an impressive pipeline of work, they have revenues exceeding a billion dollars per year and growing.

We're looking for someone to take control once our client has been awarded a project. You must begin breaking ground, ordering material as well as creating a complete project schedule. You will also be responsible for the budget according to the estimate and bid package put together.

Position: Solar Pre-Construction Manager

Responsibilities:

• Establish and cultivate robust, strategic relationships with clients to comprehend their aspirations, objectives, and project prerequisites.
• Serve as the principal liaison for clients throughout the preconstruction phase, addressing inquiries, delivering routine project progress reports, and ensuring ongoing client contentment across the project's lifecycle.
• Take the initiative to interact with clients, engaging in conversations regarding contract stipulations, scope adjustments, and any prospective alterations to project deliverables.
• Supervise and direct the project management team in executing preconstruction undertakings, encompassing schedule formulation, change oversight, budget monitoring, and the commencement and coordination of design processes.
• Supervise the Preconstruction RFI (Request for Information) Log until finalization of the Owner EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) Agreement; transition the RFI process to Operations Project Management upon preconstruction conclusion.
• Steer procurement coordination initiatives, collaborating with pertinent teams to ensure prompt procurement of requisite resources and materials.

Qualifications:

• 5+ year experience in the Solar/EPC Construction industry.
• Utility-scale solar experience essential.
• Relocation to South Florida is preferred.
