Schedule : Friday–Sunday, 6 : 00 PM–6 : 30 AM (Weekend Program)
Pay Range : $34.90–$43.63 / hr + $8.00 / hr Weekend Program Differential
Bonuses : Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus + $5,000 Relocation
Position Type : Full-Time (36 hrs / week)
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures following departmental protocols and standards.
- Operate MRI scanners and associated equipment, including Siemens 3T, GE 1.5T, post-processing stations, IV contrast injectors, patient monitoring equipment, O2, suction, and transport.
- Verify and review patient orders; clarify discrepancies with Radiologists or ordering providers.
- Identify patients using two identifiers; explain procedures clearly and professionally.
- Obtain and document medical history from patients and EMRs; correlate with imaging needs.
- Administer IV contrast per protocols and document in the MAR.
- Evaluate image quality and consult with Radiologists when necessary.
- Recognize abnormal anatomy and acquire additional images or measurements as needed.
- Provide basic patient care, monitor patient condition, and initiate life support as required.
- Assist physicians and PAs with invasive MRI procedures using sterile technique.
- Adhere to infection control, bloodborne pathogen, safety, and MRI safety guidelines.
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintain a clean, well-stocked work area.
- Support other medical teams, such as anesthesia, during MRI-related services.
- Operate EPIC and radiology information systems, including order entry and procedure charging.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program OR enrollment in an ARMRIT / ARRT-eligible program.ARRT (R)(MR) certification required.BLS (AHA or ARC) required.Experience with high-volume ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging preferred.Ability to work safely in environments with exposure to bloodborne pathogens.Physical abilities include lifting / moving patients and equipment, frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing.Company Description
