Programming Academic Support Lab Assistant - Temp 2

This position involves the provision of intermediate to advanced academic / instructional support to students (one-on-one and small groups up to five people) in one or more content areas within the Computer Information Systems (CIS) field (including, but not limited to programming, database administration, networking and web development). This position will take place at the Mesa Community College (MCC) Southern and Dobson campus. Other positional duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Provides intermediate to advanced one-on-one and small group academic services, online and / or in-person for the CIS department
• Provides assistance to other lab assistants as needed
• Provides courteous customer service in person and virtually
• Maintains professionalism including punctuality and effective communication
• Access to the following academic platform : Cranium Cafe
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
