Associate Attorney

Location : Louisville, KY — primarily in-office with hybrid flexibility after 6 months

Compensation : Starting at $85,000–$105,000 (DOE) + PTO + health benefits

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Associate Attorney who’s passionate about family immigration and eager to broaden their practice into compliance and corporate immigration strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly alongside the firm’s founder and gain hands-on mentorship in both family-based immigration and I-9 / worksite compliance, a fast-growing area of immigration practice. You’ll step into a firm where your voice matters, your growth is supported, and your work directly impacts families and businesses across the U.S.

What You’ll Do

Handle a diverse caseload of family-based immigration matters, including I-130s, AOS, consular processing, K-1s, I-751s, and related filings.

Communicate directly with clients, guiding them through each stage with clarity and compassion.

Support and eventually lead compliance projects, including I-9 audits, employer training, and worksite enforcement consulting.

Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to manage workflow and ensure high-quality filings.

Participate in process improvement, training, and firm-wide initiatives that enhance client experience.

J.D. and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.

Minimum 3 years of immigration experience, preferably with a focus on family-based cases or compliance.

Strong writing, organizational, and client communication skills.
