Job Summary :

Join our team as a Senior Research Operations Associate, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting discovery research. You'll be responsible for executing peptide synthesis and antibody conjugation workflows, ensuring the delivery of high-quality materials to project teams. This position is fully onsite in Thousand Oaks, CA, and offers a dynamic environment for scientific growth.

Job Responsibilities :

• Plan and execute peptide synthesis, including peptide cleavage and purification using RP-HPLC, with minimal supervision.
• Conduct antibody conjugation experiments and analyze peptide and conjugate identity and purity.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, observations, and results in the laboratory e-notebook.
• Communicate data and interpretations to the work group and operate specialized lab equipment.
• Perform general lab housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe workspace.
• Adhere to all lab safety guidelines, SOPs, and relevant regulations.

Skills Required :

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of standard laboratory practices.
• Hands-on experience with solid phase peptide synthesis and RP-HPLC purification is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation.
• Experience in organic chemistry and working with purification instruments.
