Company Description : Bel-Air Manor is a family-owned skilled nursing facility specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Located in Newington, Connecticut, our 71-bed facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care. We are excited to invite Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our compassionate team!

We are currently hiring for : Part-Time positions for various shifts, especially 3-11 PM, as well as options for 24-hour and 40-hour work weeks.

Responsibilities :

Document nursing notes clearly and thoroughly to reflect the care provided and the resident’s response to treatment.
Complete and maintain accurate recordkeeping forms / charts during resident admission, transfer, or discharge.
Prepare and administer medications per physician orders while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Guide certified nursing assistants (CNAs) in understanding and implementing resident care plans, ensuring they reference these plans during daily care activities.

Requirements :

A minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, and graduation from a Connecticut-approved RN / LPN program.

Current certification as a Nurses Aide is required.

Proficiency in speaking and writing English in a clear and understandable manner.

Able to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 40 pounds to a height of at least 3 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.
