Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a busy Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring an IL RN license and Level III NICU exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a busy hospital Labor and Delivery Unit
  • Care for patients in antepartum, labor and delivery, and OB-ED areas
  • Facility includes a Level III NICU
  • Night shift from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
  • Provide comprehensive care to laboring women in a high-acuity setting
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Level III NICU staff
  • Holiday coverage and every other weekend are expected
  • Candidates living within a specified radius will be considered local and compensated accordingly
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required
  • First time travelers may apply

    • Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
  • Certifications required : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP (AHA / AAP)
  • Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Must provide US Social Security Number and a US home address
