We are currently seeking a highly skilled, dynamic and dedicated Permanent Senior Equipment Technician to join our innovative team in the scientific industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. As a Senior Equipment Technician, you will be integral to maintaining, repairing, and improving our marine survey equipment.

Responsibilities :

As a Senior Equipment Technician, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

1) Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of geophysical, hydrographic, and geotechnical survey equipment.

2) Set up, configure, and test survey systems including sub-bottom profilers, multibeam echosounders, sidescan sonars, magnetometers, nav systems, USBLs, and ROTVs.

3) Conduct system checks, keep calibrations up to date, and perform routine maintenance on equipment before mobilization.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Equipment Technician position will possess the following qualifications :

1. 3+ years of hands-on experience with marine geophysical and hydrographic equipment.

Strong background in electronics, equipment integration, and system troubleshooting.
