We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team and provide a high-quality early learning experience aligned with the New Mexico PreK Standards.

Position Overview

As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Youll help cultivate a nurturing and safe classroom environment where every child feels supported and empowered to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of a classroom for preschool-aged children.
• Ensure full compliance with Auntie Nikkis Daycare policies, as well as state and national health and safety regulations.
• Conduct ongoing developmental assessments and observations in accordance with NM PreK Standards.
• Develop and implement lesson plans and daily schedules that reflect NM PreK curriculum goals and the values of our program.
• Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
• Provide consistent guidance and positive behavioral support to foster social-emotional development.
• Collaborate with the Director and team members to support overall program success and special initiatives.
