Job Responsibilities

Safely and productively operates all heavy equipment, such as hydraulic knuckle boom loader, bobcat and lift trucks, etc.

Learn and perform all start-up and operational checks on all mobile / heavy equipment.

Provide backup to crane operator.

Recognize operational problems and clearly describe them so that they may be corrected.

Understand log class and length combinations in order to separate and store logs on the yard, retrieve logs for drying, store dried logs, and load shipments of green and dry logs.

Perform various routine maintenance procedures such as lubrication.

Assist maintenance personnel with equipment maintenance as required.

Routine clean up and grounds keeping.

Required Qualifications

• Heavy equipment experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Committed to safety.
• Ability to work from elevated positions.
