Classroom Assistant - Elementary School Full-time Position

Classroom Assistant - Grades K through 4

We are currently searching for a full-time Classroom Assistant - Elementary Grades K through 4 to work with CCCS students. This is a 10-month position; work hours are from 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 45 PM.

Qualifications for the position include :

• An associate's degree (or higher) OR completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher learning OR a qualifying score on the ParaPro exam
• Previous experience working in an elementary school classroom is highly desired
• A flexible personality that demonstrates enthusiasm, celebrates success, and responds positively to adversity
• An interpersonal skillset that fosters positive communication with students, staff, administration, and parents
• A strong work ethic and an excellent attendance record

HOW TO APPLY

1- Copy of your PA State Police Criminal Record Clearance (Act 34)

2 - Copy of your DPW Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)

3 - Copy of your FBI Clearance Fingerprinting with the UEID # (Act 114)

4 - Completion of a Sexual Misconduct / Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168)

6 - Copy of high school and / or college transcripts

7 - Three letters of professional reference

8 - Completion of a PA School Health Record

10 - Completion of Professional Ethics Training
