Job Title : Academic Success and Support Specialist

Department : Undergraduate Education | University Honors and Scholars

The Academic Support Specialist will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Honors Peer Mentorship Program. This role involves recruiting and training student mentors, coordinating with college Honors Directors, managing program logistics, and ensuring alignment with the University Honors Standards helping students to obtain honors program completion. Mentors will concentrate on providing support in areas such as navigating college honors resources, community building within the college / major, exploring leadership opportunities, and enhancing personal and professional development. The Academic Support Specialist, plans, coordinates, and implements professional development support for Honors Peer Mentors across 16 College Programs and three regional campus programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 4 years of relevant experience required.

Desired : Advanced degree in relevant field. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

Salary range for this job family is $44,400 - $58,000.

The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
