Licensed Vocational Nurse - Orthopedic Surgery

Job Summary : Join our team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, where you will provide essential care to clinic patients under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse. Your contributions are vital to ensuring the highest standards of patient care in our orthopedic surgery clinic.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver basic patient care including vital signs, weight measurement, and specimen collection, including phlebotomy.
• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Support efficient patient flow within the clinic and manage patient-related communications.
• Assist in scheduling tests, handling results, and securing pre-certifications.
• Document all patient-related information thoroughly and accurately.
• Aid providers with medication refills and administer medications / immunizations as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
• Perform essential clerical duties, such as chart organization and form completion.
• Engage in required meetings and training sessions.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Requirements :

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
