Job Summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional who will be responsible for enhancing cyber policies, compliance, and procedures. In this role as Senior Cybersecurity Audit, Policy & Compliance Staff (Security Staff III / IV) , you will help to ensure cybersecurity compliance and implement proactive solutions and policies based on organizational, and regulatory requirements, risk posture and threat intelligence. You will join a team of dedicated cybersecurity professionals who are chartered with securing Aerospace's classified and unclassified enterprise IT environments and viewed as leaders within the aerospace community.

Work Model

This is a full-time position based in Chantilly, VA or Colorado Springs, CO, offering a hybrid work model that combines 3 regular onsite workdays and remote flexibility as the business needs allow.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Spearheading teams and projects in the areas of : cybersecurity audits and audit oversight, compliance review, vulnerability identification and remediation, cybersecurity administration
• Contributing to and compiling threat briefings and risk assessments based on current events
• Providing expertise for cyber policy development and enhancement
• Remaining informed on trends and issues in the security industry, including current and emerging technologies and policies
• Collaborating on corporate technology development with a focus on data, system, and network security
• Communicating effectively with senior management, peers, staff, and customers both inside and outside the corporation
• Where necessary, providing Tier 3 support to help troubleshoot complex issues and architect new solutions

Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
