Enterprise Applications Administrator

A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Applications Administrator with strong ERP administration expertise to support and elevate its business-critical applications. This role will be central to managing optimizing and advancing systems across ERP (SAP S4 / HANA) MES and other enterprise applications that drive daily operations.

You will work at the intersection of technology and business ensuring that systems run efficiently integrate seamlessly and support the companys long-term operational goals. Key Responsibilities :

Applications Management & Strategy

  • Administer optimize and maintain enterprise applications including ERP MES and related business systems
  • Create and execute strategies for system integrations upgrades and enhancements
  • Manage configurations patches and updates aligned with business needs

    • ERP System Administration

  • Oversee daily operations performance security and reliability of the ERP system (SAP S4 / HANA)
  • Lead ERP improvements support initiatives and cross-functional coordination

    • Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide expert-level support to end-users
  • Collaborate with vendors consultants and internal IT to resolve application issues

    • System Integration & Enhancements

  • Partner with business units to design and implement cross-system integrations
  • Identify opportunities for workflow and process improvement

    • Data Management & Reporting

  • Ensure data accuracy manage migration activities and create reports for business insights

    • User Training & Documentation

  • Develop and deliver training programs for business users
  • Maintain documentation for ERP MES and other enterprise applications

    • Security & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain access controls audit trails and lead remediation activities

    • Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison for application vendors and consultants
  • Partner with leadership to prioritize technical and business requirements

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Business Administration or a related field
  • 6 years of full-time experience administering SAP S4 / HANA (version 2.0 or newer) in a discrete manufacturing environment
  • 3 years of experience with SAP ABAP SAP Business Objects and integrations with Azure Data Lake and PowerBI
  • Strong understanding of business processes across finance supply chain HR and operations
  • Experience in data migration system upgrades integrations and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of application and SAP security best practices
  • Excellent analytical communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create technical documentation and user training materials

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with SYSPRO ERP v7.1
  • 6 years of experience with SQL and SQL databases
  • Data architecture or engineering background
  • Experience with SAP AI systems development and maintenance
  • Familiarity with BI tools and data analysis
