The standard work schedule will be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm during the Academic Year.
7:00am - 6:00pm during the Summer Months
This position offers remote work allowing employees a combination of onsite and work from home options. The expected remote work schedule for this position will be based upon the needs of the department.

Job Summary
The Fiscal Analyst provides fiscal and analytical support for activities associated with College and Grant related funds, including requisitions and purchase orders, Capital Project Management, Non-SIS billing, ProCard transactions and travel authorizations. Monitors and controls consistent with assigned departments under Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) policies.
Essential Functions
40% - Provides fiscal and analytical support associated with college related funds, including requisitions and purchase orders, ProCard transactions and reconciliations, Non-SIS billing processes, Capital Project Management and travel authorizations. Monitors and controls expenses consistent with MCCCD policies.
30% - Researches, interprets, and advises on related fiscal policies, procedures and regulations for compliance with fiscal, budgetary or internal controls and procedures, makes recommendations for improvement.
20% - Responds to inquiries and provides technical and analytical support using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and professional communication platforms.
10% - Collaborates with others to review, recommend and implement modifications to accounting systems and procedures in order to streamline budget and fiscal processes and improve controls.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in finance, accounting or directly related field and two (2) years of experience providing professional financial analysis for area of assignment.
OR
Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in finance, accounting or directly related field and four (4) years of experience providing professional financial analysis for area of assignment.
OR
High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience providing professional financial analysis for area of assignment.
Desired Qualifications
A. Experience in fiscal management/oversight, including understanding complex financial transactions, recordkeeping, and presenting fiscal outcomes
B. Experience using spreadsheets and database software to retrieve, analyze and interpret data for reporting and data manipulation
C. Experience with PeopleSoft ERP (Financial Management System) and extracting data from these systems
D. Two (2) years working in a team environment
E. Demonstrated knowledge of interpreting regulations, laws, and guidelines
Special Working Conditions
Travel to campus during interview/selection process will be at candidate’s own expense. require prolonged periods of sitting and operating a computer
Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License is required; employee must meet district minimum standards regarding driving:
