A company is looking for a UNIX System Administrator to manage and secure enterprise-level AIX / IBM and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot AIX / IBM environments and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems
Plan and execute IBM Power lifecycle migrations and build virtual servers using PowerVM
Collaborate with teams to support operational requirements and maintain technical documentation
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing server infrastructure in a large enterprise setting
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM AIX and PowerHA, including building and administering systems
Strong troubleshooting expertise in AIX-based environments and familiarity with IBM PowerVM virtualization
Proven experience in implementing OS hardening and vulnerability remediation
Proficiency in monitoring system performance and executing preventive maintenance in UNIX environments
