ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We look forward to incorporating your energy and marketing perspective into our team as we build success together. In this position, you will primarily support Sales Account Representatives in their effort to sell Auto, Home, Business, Health and Life Insurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO THE OFFICE IN IRVING, TEXAS DAILY - M-F 9-5

• Must want to be working towards being a General Lines Insurance Professional and end of internship.
• Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification depending on licensing and training level.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• To be eligible for an internship, you must be willing to work 40 Hours Per Week M-F. No weekends or late evenings.
• Must be either Newly Licensed or want to acquire licensing while on the job. Licensing Test Prep and Guidance provided.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently
• Effective customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties
• Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• Internship expected to last one-calendar year
• This position is designed for someone that is either fresh out of school or wants a career in Insurance.
• This is a perfect position for someone who wants to break into the Insurance Business and learn hands on how the biz works and what career opportunities in the insurance industry fits them best.
