Adjunct Clinical Instructor for Practical Nursing Program. The role includes overseeing PN students during clinical rotations and / or leading practical skills lab assignments on campus.

Summary of Major Duties / Responsibilities

Engage students with active learning in the lab or clinical setting.

Assist and supervise students with patient assessment, administration of medications and patient care procedures.

Provide clinical instruction at long term care, sub-acute and acute clinical sites.

Create a clinical environment which encourages the student’s academic growth and professional development.

Engage in the evaluation processes of the Practical Nursing Program to evaluate students.

Submit final grades and other program related materials in a timely manner.

Engage on ongoing continuing education related to teaching responsibilities and clinical nursing practice.

Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing.

Current registration as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Prior experience teaching in a Practical Nursing Program preferred.

A minimum of two years’ experience in nursing practice.

The base pay for this position is $45 / hour. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
