We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will handle various accounts payable and clerical tasks, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of financial documents. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records while supporting other accounting functions. Responsibilities include processing and verifying the accuracy of all accounts payable invoices, preparing and distributing checks, investigating and responding to inquiries related to accounts payable, organizing and maintaining accounts payable folders, managing contracts and change orders, processing payments related to contracts, supporting property management activities, maintaining retention records, assisting with additional projects and tasks, and collaborating with the team to ensure seamless operations and adherence to company policies. Requirements include an associate degree in accounting preferred, minimum of five years of experience in accounting or a related field, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work environments, strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, capacity to manage multiple tasks and support various priorities effectively, and strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
